Decamberers
Barnes decamberers cover all common materials and strip sizes. Narrow strip is treated by "snaking" the material from side to side in diminishing cycles. The HDDC series and MDC series are this type. For wider materials the new tiltroll decamberers roll the material using tilted rolls, extending the short edge to the same length as the long edge, remover camber. They are superior to stretchformers, imparting minimum work on the material and drawing low power. The rolls are "told" which way and how much to tilt. The SDC series are "smart" self learning machines and the economy TRDC series are manually set.

Suited to narrow, varying thickness material to 1.5 inches (37mm) wide. The units are available as line pullthrough or powered versions with MNR series motorized pinchrolls.

These powered automatic decamberers sense incoming and exiting camber electronically and set up to correct their own errors. They are truly self learning machines, customized for a wide range of material thicknesses and widths.

These powered economy units are "one knob" manually set onstream to correct uniform camber in any given coil.
